Few great musicians actually make a living playing their instrument. The vast majority of musical talent is hiding in the woodwork, unknown to the world. The Woodwork Collective was founded by guitarist Jack West to bring great musicians out of the woodwork and onto the stage. Each show features a new set of music and includes multiple genres, original compositions, and unique takes on covers. Each musician leads a song or two and assembles a band from the Collective members and guest artists on the gig.

 

Some Collective members support their music with a day job while others teach or produce music to make a living and gig whenever they can. The common thread is that none of the Collective members make a living solely by playing their instrument on concert stages, yet all play exceptionally well and thrive on collaboration and live performance.
