Acoustic guitarists Jack West and Walter Strauss present a captivating joyride of original material plus a brilliant cover of Stevie Wonder´s classic ‘I Wish’. West released five albums with his unique band Curvature around the turn of the century, carving out a vibrant niche as a San Francisco Bay Area composer and guitarist with a percussive style and lustrous group sound.

Strauss is well known for his extensive work with West African artists. West’s knack for crafting glistening soundscapes full of surprising twists and textures prompted NPR to describe his work as
“a whole new subgenre of jazz.” He's a one-man rhythm section with a gift for making the most intricate passages tumble and flow with graceful precision, simultaneously playing bass, chords, and percussion lines.
And Strauss weaves expertly filigreed melodies that careen around and caress West’s buoyant foundation.
